Lounge Area
Comfortable seating for up to 6 with a large coffee table. The opposite wall hosts a 65" LCD flatscreen smart TV with access to Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon and control of the smart devices throughout the house.
All the lights are smart lights and are controlled by the Apple Home Hub, which also can be used as a music speaker. Alternatively these can be controlled using the wall mounted Apple smart switches or the iPad
Dining Area
The dining area can seat up to 6 people, with over table smart lighting which can be amended to suit the mood of your dining, these can be controlled by voice activation through the Apple Home Hub which can also be used as a speaker.

Kitchen
With ample storage the kitchen hosts an electric induction 4 ring hob, cooker, integrated dishwasher and fridge freezer.
We provide high quality dining crockery, glasses and cutlery, and the kitchen is stocked with pretty much anything you can possibly need to cook whether its a simple ready meal for the family or a gourmet romantic meal for 2.
The lights are recessed spotlights, these are all smart lights and can be individually/ group altered by voice activation through the Apple Home Hub which can also be used as a speaker, using the iPad controller or using the smart switch which is mounted on the wall.
Breakfast Bar
Separating the kitchen from the lounge the large breakfast bar provides seating for 2, gives more than ample space for meal prep and hidden underneath is a wine/ drinks fridge to keep that all important wine cool. There is also an integrated wine rack next to the fridge
This area also hosts an very high standard coffee machine to start your morning or create delicious espresso martinis for the end of your evening.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is a luxurious peaceful room to chill out and rest after busy days.
The superking-size bed, being a new Actipur 4000 pocket mattress with an acti-gel topper is incredibly comfortable and guarantees a great nights sleep.
Wall mounted bedside tables flank both sides of the bed and double sockets below each provide ample charging facilities.
A large sofa (which can be used as an additional single bed) sits opposite a good size dressing table with storage and a large mirror.
A deep triple wardrobe provides hanging, drawer and shelf space.
On the opposite wall is a 50" flatscreen LCD Smart TV including Amazon Prime, Netflix, internet access and control for the house smart features.

2nd Bedroom
This bedroom has flexibility to be a double bedroom with a super king bed, be a family room with the super king and 2 singles, or even can be split into 4 singles.
On the opposite wall is a 36" flatscreen LCD Smart TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix.
Each side of the bed hasa bedside cabinet, there is a single wardrobe with hanging and shelf space. There is also a tall drawer unit with flip up mirror and storage for make up.

The bedroom has 2 sets of voice activated smart blinds on the window, allowing for shade and complete blackout.
Bathroom
The bathroom hosts a large bath and over-bath shower. The shower has a powerful flow with a static waterfall head, and moveable head on a flexed pipe.
The lights are recessed spotlights, these are all smart lights and can be individually/ group altered using the iPad controller or using the smart switch in the bathroom. With a sensor in the room the lights are set to automatically come on when somebody enters. They are set to be very dim after 11pm.

Kitchenette and Stunning Roof Terrace
The unique selling point of Gullwing Cottage is its roof terrace.
This area is very secluded, it is not overlooked at all and the neighbours are very quiet so it is a peaceful haven to relax.
Featuring decking and high quality artificial grass the terrace has sunshine most of the day, but has sails that can be put in place above to provide shade when needed.
This area is well furnished with a modern large corner sofa and coffee table, 2 relaxer chairs and a dining table for 4 with comfy chairs.
The very latest in smart lighting, which links to the Apple Home Pod music system, highlights the decking Adjacent to the roof terrace is the upper landing with a kitchenette with a wine/drinks fridge, kettle, sink and ample cutlery, crockery and glasses to save you going downstairs for a cuppa or another chilled beer. There is also a office desk and chair for if you do need to WFH whilst you visit.
Secure Parking
Gullwing Cottage has reserved secure underground parking for 1 vehicle. There is a council carpark only 2 minutes walk away if any further parking is required and a permit can be purchased for the duration of your stay. The advantage of the permit is that it can be used in many of the carparks across Torbay.
